God’s nature is love

1 John 4:8 NASB95

8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

It is a covenant love

Deuteronomy 7:9 NASB95

Covenant - an agreement which brings about a relationship of commitment between God and his people. Contract, pledge, agreement, arrangement

It is Grand/Extravagant

What is the biggest love you have ever witnessed?

Love is sitting beside a hospital bed for days and weeks on end with a love one. No sleep. No food. Just love.

Love is accepting the broken, the dejected, the rejected, addict, the enemy with no thought of their past.

But it doesn’t hold a candle to the GRAND EXTRAVAGANT love of God!
