What well are you drinking from?

John 4:7–15 ESV
7 A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.” 8 (For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.) 9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) 10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” 11 The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock.” 13 Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” 15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.”
I want to know, what kind of well are you drinking from?
I need something to drink that is going to fill my thirst!
I see something in the body I don’t like. It’s houses of worship that have no open wells!
We have dehydrated saints sipping from something that is less Spirit and more seduction!
They are seduced to gather people but not welcome the Holy Spirit!
They have been seduced to fill seats but not fill people!
They have been seduced to preach a partial truth but nothing that effects true transformation!
I’m thirsty for something real!
Genesis 26:12–16 ESV
12 And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him, 13 and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy. 14 He had possessions of flocks and herds and many servants, so that the Philistines envied him. 15 (Now the Philistines had stopped and filled with earth all the wells that his father’s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father.) 16 And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.”
Gen 26.12
There has always been a struggle to maintain wells that others have dug!
Wigglesworth and John G Lake dug wells of miracles and healings!
Katheryn Kulman dug wells of radical presence!
Bro Hagin dug wells of powerful faith!
Lester Sumrall dug wells of dynamic deliverance!
Shawn Bolz has uncapped a revelatory prophetic well
Anytime there is a marked move of God in the earth a well is opened up and we have access to it! But are we drinking from these wells??
Genesis 26:18 ESV
18 And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father, which the Philistines had stopped after the death of Abraham. And he gave them the names that his father had given them.
Gen 26.18
Then Isaacs servants began to dig new wells!

Genesis 26:19–20 ESV
19 But when Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found there a well of spring water, 20 the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they contended with him.

Esek - Contention

Dispute
Argument
Disagreement
Discord
Friction
Disharmony
Contention will hug your neck and stab you in the back at the same time.
You can’t drink from this well! It’s poisoning you!
.21-
Genesis 26:21 ESV
21 Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that also, so he called its name Sitnah.

Sitnah - Enmity

Bad blood
Hatred
Loathing
Resentment
Malice
Venom & Malvolence
Enmity will speak word curses over you while you’re in the healing line!
Enmity will trip you on the way to the altar to get delivered!
You must not drink from this well! You’re swallowing the venom that you are spitting at others!
Genesis 26:22 ESV
22 And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, saying, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

Rehoboth - Broad places! A large place!

Abundant Supply
Blessings
Prosperous
More than enough
Great Supply
Rehoboth is a well of blessing and apostolic advancement!
Rehoboth ends the fighting and makes room for you!
Some of you need to stretch out your arms and say God is making room for me!
Genesis 26:25 ESV
25 So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the Lord and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac’s servants dug a well.
Genesis 26:32–33 ESV
32 That same day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well that they had dug and said to him, “We have found water.” 33 He called it Shibah; therefore the name of the city is Beersheba to this day.
Gen 26.
Gen 26.32
Shibah means the well of the oath or seven!
Seven is the biblical number for completion or perfection.
Philippians 1:6 ESV
6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Altar

John 4:23–30 ESV
23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” 25 The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” 26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.” 27 Just then his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, “What do you seek?” or, “Why are you talking with her?” 28 So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” 30 They went out of the town and were coming to him.
. 23
There is a well of worship in Spirit and Truth!
Not the dead, dry religous obligatory “Praise the Lord”
But worship in spirit and truth that leaves us wrecked!
Worship is not simply music, worship is our dna and our lifestyle!
