Welcome

Refuge on the Mountain is a radio and media ministry. Our mission is to support the communities with helping spread encouragement, hope, purpose and love that is in Jesus Christ. We do this through reaching out into the communities and helping shape the conversations that need to take place.
Today is the national day of Prayer, a time to come together unified by one body, with one voice reaching out to and praising God.
Ephesians 2:14
Ephesians 2:14–16 ESV
For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
Today we seek unity as one church crying out to Almighty God.

Prayer for the community and Believers

Ephesians 4:2–6 ESV
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Ephesians 4:
Communities and families face a great enemy that wishes to divide.
Believers face push back against your holy word, your existence, and your sovereignty.
In the Book of John Chapter 17 Jesus prayed for people that would believe in Him, we believe in those words and reiterate those words today.
That we are one as You and Christ are one
The Christ is in us as You are in Christ
That this is for Your glory and that others may see and believe that You sent Christ.
That we may be made perfect in this unity, as Christ is in You and You in Him that the world may believe that you love the world and that You sent Christ not to judge but save the world.
we declare in one voice, in one body that You are Lord, Holy and righteous.

Prayer for community and the Lost

The divide is great in the community as a whole. People are searching for happiness but only find false hope and devices that only brings temporary joy.
People are isolated through technology and hatred
Chaos is the rule of the day/ protest/ demonstrations/ attack on order and sense of belonging.
Pray for healing for the community through common threads that unite us a citizens in our community.
You word instructs us to treat people with respect, peace and patience.
Colossians 3:12–13 ESV
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Col
As a community I pray that we can come together united as one in a community sharing common grace that is provided by You to all Your creation.
May You make us ambassadors for the conversations that need to take place in our communities and that You are front and center in our talks, minds and directions.

Prayer for the Nation

Scripture says we are to pray for our leaders
1 Timothy 2:1–3 ESV
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
1 Timothy 2:1-
Local governments and leaders

That we end partison politics and unite behind common threads and interest instead of looking to divide.

Prayer for the world

John 3:16–17 ESV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Unity as the church and groups of believers is important for the world to see. Through our interaction with each other, the world can believe that Christ was sent for all.
Pray that as Christians we show peace, love and patients.
The world leaders stop looking at the differences, looking to tear each other down
We may have different beliefs, religious and politically, but we do share one common thread. That you are our creator. You have chosen those to be in Your family. You have placed the leaders in authority
Romans
Romans 13:1–2 ESV
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
God is the creator and ruler of the world. All things are according to His plan and will. There is nothing that happens that He is not in full control of.
Ultimate authority belongs to You Lord
Psalm 115:3 ESV
Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.
Use authority notes
Without authority sin and chaos is unrestrained
Romans 13:2 ESV
Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
