Testimony

Early on I had to share this scripture in out ISCF group, I had no idea what it meant, I just knew it was the Word of God, nervously I read:

1 Corinthian

We spend plenty of time on Prophesy the vocal gifts which are, word of wisdom, tongues and interpretation of tongues.

I praise God for good teaching early on because this becomes the framework of our lives:

Ps John - believes for healing

I was taught:

We get what we desire and what we go after as we align our hearts and lives with the will and Word of God.

Gifts of Power

Faith

Healing

Miraculous powers

Vocal gifts

Prophesy

Tongues

Interpretation

Gifts of insight

Wisdom

Knowledge

Discerning of spirits

Much of our time in church has been spending time in the Gifts that are vocal and have insight, however I believe that we are called to be a complete church, displaying the fullness of Christ.

The fullness of Christ dwells in His church the body of Christ, we need one another.

We are one body with many parts,

1 Corinthians 12:12

The gifts are give for two purposes

to show Christ’s love to bring about salvation

Points people to Christ.

2 Directs people to Christ - sign post, points people to Christ.

I believe that healing is the plan of God for all believers when we receive His salvation he also gives us healing.

He not only heals our soul but also heals our hearts.

A repeat an observation from someone last weekend, not a christian: I heard last weekend was that the reason aboriginal people from this particular community are so sick, a) poor diet b) Poor souls from trauma and the challenges of life.

Where suicide, depression, sickness, abuse - physical, substance etc, but also grief is overwhelming.

The heart is sick and the body is sick.

Healing is God’s plan from the OT through to the NT

He promised healing to Israel

in Jeremiah, in Exodus, in Psalm through out the scriptures.

Praying for the sick

Pray the sciptures:

By his stripes I am healed

Word of God says if I “lay hands on the sick they will recover”

What we want and desire:

We want you to grow in faith and believe, step our and see what God will do.

Faith is stepping out, you don’t know how or what or why but all you know is to step out.

Pray for Boldness

This is also an evidence of God the Holy Spirit on your life.

My prayer that many of you will receive the gift of Healing, if you desire it, it will come.

There is so much more I can

My prayer is that signs and wonders will follow the preaching of the Word.
