Introduction
The biblical definition of family is found in :
28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Children are a product of the union between the husband and the wife. Their big responsibility is to lead them to Christ. They are the primary instructors about who God is, how He Loves us and that He has a plan and will for us to live by. We live in the principle that you reap what you sow. You sow righteousness you reap blessings from the Lord. Let me remind you the trials are blessing in disguise that why we are to taught to give thanks in everything.

B. Why should children obey their parents?
B. Why should children obey their parents?
It is of the Lord - a righteous behavior. Pleasing to God.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
1 Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, to the younger men as brothers,
2 the older women as mothers, and the younger women as sisters, in all purity.
3 Honor widows who are widows indeed;
4 but if any widow has children or grandchildren, they must first learn to practice piety in regard to their own family and to make some return to their parents; for this is acceptable in the sight of God.
Ephesians

Harmony
18 “If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father or his mother, and when they chastise him, he will not even listen to them,
19 then his father and mother shall seize him, and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown.
20 “They shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey us, he is a glutton and a drunkard.’
21 “Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so you shall remove the evil from your midst, and all Israel will hear of it and fear.
