The Wrestle With God
The Wrestle With God
Genesis 32:24-32
Intro
It seems like yesterday. I was all by myself once again, just like the day that I had to run away from home for my life. My twin brother Esau was going to kill me. Why? Well, I stole something from him. Well, actually I just received it before he did. It wasn’t exactly stealing. I lied little bit. He was supposed to receive all the blessing from my father.
Come on! Let me explain. My brother Esau was careless and dumb man. Have you seen him? Man he is just like wild beast. Hair is all over him. He even sold his birthright for stew. What is the birthright? His math skill is like your 최 JDSN
My father was getting old. He wanted to bless his favorite first born Esau. He asked him to haunt an animal and cooked for him, so he will bless.
He was practically blind. His eye sight was so bad. I put animal skin and put his clothes. The plan worked.
I was sleeping at the Bethel. I had this weirdest dream. I promised God that I will give one tenth of all that God would give me.
I ran to my uncle Laban. I met Rachel. I had worked for 7 years without pay for getting married with Rachel. It was Leah. I had to work for 7 more years.
God blessed me. I became rich. I had 12 sons, two wives, techinically 4.
I had to come back home.
I divided two groups
I was praying so hard. I was desperate. Oh God of my Abraham and God of Issac, please help me. I know I am unworthy of your grace. I had been lie
Messenger
My name is changed
Are you perfect for God’s grace. God is so good and mercy, he even blessed me. I learned God loves me no matter what I am. Yes, I paid the price for my lie. Do you feel like you are not worthy of God’s love? Do you feel like God will not use you or forgive you?
Do you live your life with your own understanding and plan?
It ain’t working. Only God does the perfect work.
There will be time that you will face the situation that you cannot control. Cry out to God. Pray out loud for God’s favor

Conclusion
In the womb he took his brother by the heel,
And in his maturity he contended with God.
Yes, he wrestled with the angel and prevailed;
He wept and sought His favor.
He found Him at Bethel
And there He spoke with us,
Even the Lord, the God of hosts,
The Lord is His name.
Therefore, return to your God,
Observe kindness and justice,
And wait for your God continually.
