Introduction: Mothers are the most powerful and influential force on the face of the earth.

I. THE PRINCIPLE OF MAGNIFICENT PRIORITY ()

Hannah had her priorities right. Vs 10
Oh God I want a baby!
She had a God given instinct to have a child
Children are a blessing and an unmistakable Gift from God
blessing not a burden
there is something wrong when children are looked on as burdens instead of blessings
Drastically wrong when babies are being put to death
womb should be the safest place on earth
Heartbreak for those that cant have children.
But to those who don’t because you want more of this worlds goods, you are missing a huge blessing,
I may have to quit my job
I may have to sell my car
I might not be able to take that vacation
children are a blessing
they don’t make rich people poor, they make poor people rich
Hannah had a priority, she didn’t think it less than the best to be a mother
first principle priority, second principle...

II. THE PRINCIPLE OF MAGNIFICENT PRAYER

Because when you get your priority in line then your prayer lines up with the priority.
when do you begin to raise your children?
when do you begin to pray for you children? Not after but before
children should come to an answer to prayer

2.
Now we come to Hannah and God gave to Hannah, Samuel! the greatest individual in the old testament between Moses and King David! All because she prayed and said I want a baby that I can give back to you!
There is the principle of prayer
We need more children who are born to an answer to prayer and then given back to God in prayer before they are born.
What a tragedy of unwanted children! what would the world have been like without these men named above.
How do we know that God didn’t send an answer to the problems we have in this world and that little baby was snuffed out because he was unwanted.
Transition: She had a magnificent priority, magnificent prayer, now the 3rd principle:

B. Our prayers for our children must have God-honoring purpose.

A. Hannah continued to pray for Samuel after he was born.
what is the principle? no matter how dark, how desolate, how difficult; pray and keep on praying!
I’ve seen mothers, no matter how difficult pray for their children through so many things. I’ve seen them wait on God and continue to ask God.
Over and over again we are told to wait on God:

He was unloved, uncared for, and for the most part unwanted. He was very intelligent, but dropped out of high school, joined the marines where he was taught to use a r
