Faith vs Lack of Faith

Contrast: A girl in captivity who is a servant (faith) vs the king of Israel (lack of faith)

Humility vs Pride

Naaman’s pride vs his people who talked him into humbling himself

God’s grace, given freely for those who will humble themselves by faith and come to Him. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Obedience vs Lusts of the Flesh (Greed)

Gahazi who was serving faithfully all this time who was overtaken by greed

Gahazi was greedy and deceiving in his gain (Titus 1:7)

Belief vs Unbelief

Elija and Elisha was with Israel but no one sought them for healing and help.

Israel’s unbelief caused them to miss God’s work, to be healed both in the prophets time and in Jesus’ time. -

Belief, Faith, Humility, and Obedience -

1. God calls us to believe in Jesus Christ for salvation

2. We are to have faith that He has healed us from all unrighteousness by the name and Power that is through Jesus Christ and His dying on the cross

3. We are to humble ourselves that it is not by anything that we can do to obtain God’s grace

4. We are to be obedient to what he has called us to do.

In Short: We are to be obedient and to humbly believe on Jesus Christ by Faith for our Healing.

Or you can

1. Have Unbelief and reject the salvation through Jesus Christ

2. You can have a Lack of Faith and believe that this is too simple of a method and there must be something that I need to do for being good enough for God

3. That is because of Pride and being self-focused and self-serving that you think of yourself too highly that you can’t humble yourself before God and come to Him by His prescribed way and not the way that you think it needs to be

4. Or you are Greedy, selfish, and too busy serving your flesh and its desires to simply come to God through Christ Jesus the Lord of all. The god of this age has blinded many with the things of this world. If you love these things over Jesus, you have been stumbled by the lusts of the flesh.

In that case: You are disobedient and serving the flesh because of your pride and lack of faith which results in death.

I would rather be: Obedient and humble, believing on Jesus Christ by Faith for healing and life.
