II) Christ teaches Forgiveness of Sins

Not changing our mind toward God

But changing God’s mind toward us.

Can’t confuse it with having a clear conscience

God can be at peace with us

but we are not at peace with ourselves.

We don’t escape the consequence of our sin

III) What does it mean when God Forgives Sins

God’s resentment ceases

Only because He is God can He forgive sins

When God’s resentment fades, we fall in line with His righteousness
