Blessed

47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.

A blessed Mother is a mother that hears the word of God then does it.
James said we should not only be hearers of the word we should be doers of the Word.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
Luke said in Chapter 6:47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
Today we are having a hard time finding blessed mothers because we have too many mothers not doing the will of the Lord. We are not being obedient to the word of God. We pick and choose what scripture we will adhere to. Why is that?
Today we are having a hard
We know the Word but have made a conscience decision not to obey. Yet we know Obedience is better than sacrifice! Have you read further in ? He said 26 If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. 27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
Bridle his tongue. Hmmm That is one of the greatest problems to day we cant seem to Bridle our tongues. We think we can say anything and there are no consequences. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. How can we be blessed if we don’t do what God says do. True Blessedness is found in obedience.
What is being blessed? Blessed (markarios) in the Greek means happy fortunate.
This woman in the crowd a certain woman after observing Jesus teach and was moved to cry out: “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!”
Yes Mary was blessed to be the mother of Jesus. Mary’s personal blessedness did not consist exclusively or even primarily in the fact that she had given birth to the Messiah but in this, that she had listened carefully to the word of God and had surrendered herself to his will. Confronted with mystery, she had said to Gabriel, “Behold, the handmaid of the Lord. May it be with me according to your word!” She was blessed because she trusted in the word of God!
Now this was not the first time we heard of her being blessed.
Pronounce in Gabriel greet O favored one! , O favored one [endued with grace]! The Lord is with you! Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women! Even describes Mary as Blessed (favored of God) above all other women! And blessed (favored of God) is the Fruit of your womb!
(Amplified Bible)
So Jesus knowing that the women who bared him is blessed he said so much more is the one who hears and keeps his word!
And she cried out with a loud cry, and then exclaimed, Blessed (favored of God) above all other women are you! And blessed (favored of God) is the Fruit of your womb!
Obedience is defined as “dutiful or submissive compliance to the commands of one in authority.”
We have an obligation to obedient to God. “Dutiful” means it is our obligation to obey God, just as Jesus fulfilled His duty to the Father by dying on the cross for our sin. “Submissive” indicates that we yield our wills to God’s. “Commands” speaks of the Scriptures in which God has clearly delineated His instructions. The “one in authority” is God Himself, whose authority is total and unequivocal. For the Christian, obedience means complying with everything God has commanded. It is our duty to do so.
Having said that, it is important to remember that our obedience to God is not solely a matter of duty. We obey Him because we love Him (). 23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.
Also, we understand that the spirit of obedience is as important as the act of obedience. We serve the Lord in humility, singleness of heart, and love.

Blessed Mothers Watch the Company the keep
Blessed is the man
That walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor standeth in the way of sinners,
Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
There is that word blessed. Mothers you must scrutinize your company and those who you hang around. Bad company can ruin a reputation quickly.
Keep in mind that this blessed means ( fortunate, prosperous) So if you will hold on to you blessed state then you have to state your position. There are some folks I will not entertain in my space. Your personal space is you Holy Space. Why would you give that to someone on nonsense.
Don’t walk with the ungodly. When you run with the ungodly they give you bad advice. I told you last week that Jesus was addressing a wicked generation. This is the ungodly.
Also the copying of behavior of sinners. There are some folks will poke and prod you to do wrong. They want you to copy their bad behavior. If someone tires to keep you from doing right they are the wrong person to be around. You are trying to be blessed. You don’t have time for distractions!! If they are not attending Bible Class, Sunday School are teaching opportunities at the church don’t follow them. If they are discouraging you from using your time, talent and treasures in the Kingdom avoid them. You even have to be care who you sit next to. The negative person. The scornful person can fill you head with all types of stuff. This word scornful means chatters, scoffers. It also refers to boastful. The scornful also encourage others to scorn.
Secondly, The Blessed Obey God
The
Finally The Blessed Obey God

New King James Version (NKJV)

26 “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today,’
We have to decide if we are going to obey God or disobey God. Obey and be blessed or disobey and be cursed.
We have families today with generational curses because they have decided to walk in disobedience. This generation is suffering because of the previous generations willful disobedience.
No one brings their children to church anymore. When the word says train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they shall not depart from it.
We heard the preach talk about
We pick a Sunday to come to church. We find an excuse not to come to Bible class. Cant get up early enough to come to Sunday school but have perfect attendance at your job.
We are have piled sin on top of sin. When we just need to obey.
Mothers its time for you to be blessed!
A Blessed Mother’s Children Sees her Obedience
when a mother walks before God in integrity she becomes an example for her children to see

Strength and honour are her clothing;

And she shall rejoice in time to come.

26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom;

And in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27  She looketh well to the ways of her household,

And eateth not the bread of idleness.

28  Her children arise up, and call her blessed;

Her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Proverb writer says
Strength and honour are her clothing;
And she shall rejoice in time to come.
26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom;
And in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27  She looketh well to the ways of her household,
And eateth not the bread of idleness.
28  Her children arise up, and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praiseth her.
