Good Afternoon,
My name is Pastor Rhyan and its a privilege to come and celebrate in the victory we have access to through Jesus Christ.
In respect to the Family would you please silence your cell phones.
In respect to the many differnt views in Christianity and the many differnt people represented here today.
If somebody talks about God or prayer could we respect their beliefs and thoughts?
If somebody tells a clean funny Joke and laughs can we respect the way they are morning.
Freinds the bible teaches that we are to morn with those that morn and today people are morning their husband, grandpa, friend, uncle this afternoon and we all morn in differnt ways!
We are here today to celebrate the life lived by Larry Gordon Sage

You know freinds I love that God gives us memory.
In times like these its nice to reflect on the memories Larry has brought to our life.
Many know Larry much closer than I do but one memory I will never forget.
Was this past Easter service when I was preaching at the end I gave a time for people to raise their hands or come forward to lay down religion and except a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Larry was among the people coming forward and he looked at me and said “i had been dibble dabbling in faith for a long time and today i want to make things right and know Jesus personally”
I prayed for him after he had prayed to God and had let things go.
Thats the greatest memory as a follower of Jesus can witness or tell. And that very same thing is a free gift to any body that calls upon Jesus and embarks on a relationship.
We are going to play the song in the garden and as tis song plays be thinking about a story you would like to tell in brief after the song is over.
play in the garden-
It was so nice a couple days ago as i sat in a hospital room around larry in a time that looks like how can any good be in this. We laughed we prayed to a God that says i will never leave you or forsake you.
We sang songs together there was crying there was joke telling, there were family trying to see who could one up each other on there sory telling.
The main point im trying to pull out is the place that larry was headed to we cannot comprehend.
And in a time that death was so near we celebrated our home in Jesus.
I sat there and could not help but think MAN he is going to know more about Jesus than any of us. How great is that thought.
No more tiredness no more suffering,
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
You see freinds its easy to feel like we have lost somebody.
But I want to tell you that when you and whoever else puts their faith in Jesus Christ and foollow him.
our bodies may run down our bodies here in earth dont last forever but we live eternity in heven when we make the same decision that larry had made.
And your never to far gone or too close to death to accept what he has done for you and I.
maybe your feeling like you have no peace, you feel like God is so far away how could he know what im going through right now.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Jesus knows what you are going through and wants to bring peace into your life. Give you a sence of peace that I cannot give nor anything in this world can give you but when you call out to him he can give you peace like you have never had before.
in it is describe
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
phil
we cant understand the peace Jesus gives us but he does. And it is his will.
We are going to reflect on Gods word and the peace he wants to bring us thorugh this next song called
Amazing Grace.
Pray.
Burial message.
As we gather here some may feel as if thats it. And freinds it is not. All who put ther trust in Jesus will be saved andd spend eternity in heaven.
As we gather here we can share in unity of the faith that Larry called out in.
We can share in the same mind set though he has moved into his new home .
Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity!
The lord calls it pleasant and good when we unite in the faith that we have in his son Jesus Christ.
Pray-
