We all are gathered here today with heavy hearts as we mourn the loss of Hayley. Hayley was so special and so well loved as evident of those who have came to show their love and support. At 21 years of age, look at all the lives Hayley has touched in some way. What a remarkable testimony to the kind of person she was. So energetic, always the clown who be silly and make everyone around her laugh. She had such an infectious smile that would brighten your day when you saw her. Hayley was sweet, funny, and just a good friend to have. Young and old adored her and that’s why this is so hard on us all.
Create a Legacy
The idea is not to live forever but to create something that will.

Live With Passion
Death is more universal than life; everyone dies, but not everyone lives.
By Alan Sachs
Our hearts are for her parents, her sister, and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and hundreds of her friends and peers. We will mourn for Hayley long after today because though her years were short, she made such a lasting impression on our souls.
Most of you knew Hayley really well so there’s not a lot I can tell you about her that you don’t know but I’d like to take a moment and tell you about my best friend. His name is Wonderful, He’s the bright and morning star. He’s the rose of Sharon, the Lilly in the valley, he’s a refuge from the storm.
See I’m just like you guys, I struggle with temptation, with failure. I’ve messed up more times than you all text in a month. At 16, I had a child, at 17 I was married. I know what it’s like for some to look down on you. My life has been a roller coaster. Ups and downs, peaks and valleys, but I have found that God is merciful. It takes a special person to be my friend because I’m an introvert, often misunderstood but God has been a true friend. And so he will be for you as well.
He’ll give you joy for mourning, beauty for ashes. He’ll give you a peace that the world can’t give you.
John 14:27 KJV 1900
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
I have found that life isn’t one big party, but it’s a journey that leads to an eternal destination. Two places are awaiting our arrival. The decisions we make today will effect our eternity. Life is short a lot shorter than most of us realize.
James 4:14 KJV 1900
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV 1900
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
We are here today and gone tomorrow.
I look upon life as a gift from God. I did nothing to earn it. Now that the time is coming to give it back, I have no right to complain. Joyce Cary

The old adage of “It pays to be ready” really hits home when we hear such tragic news like this. We all, just like Hayley have that same appointment with death. It’s one appointment we will keep. We can can only make our soul ready for heaven. Listen up folks, this life will soon be over. We are not promised tomorrow. God has prepared a place for you and I that we can spend eternity with Him in glory.
Matthew 11:28–30 KJV 1900
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28 KJV 1900
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Romans 6:23 KJV 1900
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:16 KJV 1900
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 KJV 1900
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
John 14:1–4 KJV 1900
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
You can rest in him today, take comfort in his grace and mercy and believe that he will be faithful to you.
Matthew 28

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
