In Mark 10, we find Messiah hallenging His disciples to seek not the things of this world but to follow Him and put the work of the Kingdom first. As the group moves from the Galilee to Jerusalem where cricifixion is to take place, Jesus uses experiences and people encountered along the way to re-teach the attitude which should pervade their thoughts: Service to Him and others bringing blessing and sustinance as they live by Kingdom princlples .
