Our community experienced a terrible and violent act this week. As we pray for the families, friends, and community that were affected, we reflect on the violence in the human heart – our hearts. We cannot speak nonviolence at church, and live violently during the week. We must remove hate, vengeance, and malice from our hearts, and replace them with the love of Jesus.
