Cruise Control

When a cruise ship leaves port it embarks on a course for a particular destination. This is like God's sovereignty - he has you booked for passage on a set itinerary. But on that cruise ship, hundreds or thousands of people are making choices while they are on that trip. They are choosing to eat, play, or just watch the scenery pass by. They are choosing what to eat and how much to eat. They are choosing what to wear and how long to sleep. They have free will within God's sovereignty. The ship will come into port, but the passengers have a lot to say about the pleasurable memories that are created along the way.
