Prayer is a theme of this letter. Chapter 1:16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, and then he asks God to give them wisdom, and that the eyes of there heart be enlightened, so that they may know Him and to what He has called them.
Now here in chapter 3, starting in verse 14 he writes, For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, prayer again on on behalf of the Ephesian believers. So what is he praying for them to receive?
Strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being. Why?
