Haiti Team 2018

Purpose and Objective

Our objective in going to Haiti is to partner with Coreluv and assist them in reaching their community and defending the orphans in Haiti.

Our goal is not to come in as if we have all the answers.

Our purpose is to be an answer to the prayers of the individual, churches and pastors in which we will be working with.

Were not coming with our own agenda.

We’re not coming with our own agenda.

We are going to serve and help meet the needs of the Body of Christ in the area to which God is sending us.

We want to come along side and lighten their load of those who are working there.

We must remember that our primary goal is to be a blessing to those which whom we work.

Four vital parts to missions trips

Reaching - People will never know about Jesus ujless they are told.

1. Reaching

- People will never know about Jesus unless they are told.

Planting - When people recieve christ, their sins are gorgiven. Salvation is freegift from God.

But the real work of living for Christ has just begun.

3. Training - Buidling up the local church and body of Christ to carry on the work. Giving them the right tools and equiping them.

Building Partners

Who is a partner? Someone who is willing to pray for your trip and/or invest in your trip.

Partners can help fianace your trip but it requires sharing the vision with many pople.

Be well dressed

Share your heart with integrity and enthusiasm

Be honest and bold

Never come accross like you are only interested in a partners fianacial support.

While many cll it culture shock, what it should be is peole shock.

People are what make up a culture and what you are shocked at is how they live and how differently they do things fro the ways your are accustomed. One of the tempatatio you will face immediately is the tendency to compare the nuw culture wiht your own and draw negative conclusions.

To see what God is doing on the mission field you must go with open eyes. You may not always see the significance of things that jay be coccuring. Talk to the locals about Kowing what God is doing will better equp you to pray for leadersh pastors and local believers.

To apply your effort and sk9ll toward futering the work of the Godpel on the mission field, you will want to go with a willing and ready heart to serve wherever there is need. Some activities are more enjoyable than othewrs. However regardless, do it unto the lord.
