3. CHAPTER AND VERSE

1. What is the principal subject of the chapter?

2. What is a key verse? Consider memorizing it.

4. Is there any example to follow or to avoid?

4. TOPICAL STUDY

1. What is a working definition of the topic?

2. Look at every verse that deals with topic

3. How do all the verses relate together?

4. What have you learned about the topic and what does it tell you about God?

5. Which of these verses would be good to memorize?

5. CHOOSE /A SPECIFIC PERSON TO STUDY

Questions To Ask

1. What were his or her outstanding character traits?

2. Was there a great crisis in his life? If so, how did he face it?

3. What was her experience with God?

4. Were any particular faults evident in his life?

5. Notice her prayer life, faith, service to God, knowledge of God's Word, courage in witnessing, and attitude toward the worship of God. What motivated these traits?
