Revelation 4:1 AV
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
When we are caught up in the throes of battle there is often the tendency to see only what is in front of us and nothing else.
We are focused on the fight
We only see the Red Sea ......
We only see what we see....
But the Bible tells us that we walk by faith and not by sight
If faith teaches us anything it teaches that there is more to our circumstances than what we see.
But Faith asks us to see what is in our hand!
The enemies surrounding you are themselves surrounded by a great army and there are more that be with us than they that be with them.
You have the victory, and you ought not wait until the battle is over. You ought to go ahead and shout now.
I know you are worried about this age. but there is
I know you are troubled about this
But there is Glory after this....
Glory
But there is deliverance after this....
But there is salvation after this....
But there is liberation after this....
But there is Revelation after this
Now you see through a glass darkly, but
The only thing in front of you is this.
This:
Issue
Problem
Sickness
Setback
Heartache
Headache
Struggle
Grief
Dilemma
Challenge
Theres somebody here who’s dealing with THIS in your life
The way to get through this is to remember that.
You’ve been through this before
The thing that was going to kill you.
The thing that was going to destroy you.
Didn’t God pull you out before?
Didn’t God open the door before?
Didn’t God make a way out of no way?
didn’t God save you?
Didn’t God heal you?
didn’t God lift you up?
Didn’t God prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies?
Same yesterday, today and foreever
Did you think I brought you through that in order to ....
John said, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day”
HE was in Prison but in the Spirit
If your in the Spirit, God can take your circumstances and turn it into a sanctuary.
If your in the Spirit, God can take your circumstances and turn it into a sanctuary.
God says, want you to sit down and write...
I know the emperor has a narrative, but I want you to write a counter-narrative.
God never stops writing, and if you will connect with God you can write a new story!
“John, I know what’s being presented, but I want you to write what you have seen!”
I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
I want you to write what you see.
Writing is a dying art today.
It’s alright to write in 140 characters but make sure you don’t think in 140 characters
Were not as reflective.
Teachers focused on handwriting, cursive....
Write inside of the lines.....

Daniel tells of Belshazzar

Thinks he is large and in charge.....
Dinner Party
Princes and Nobles came to celebrate him
Got to drinking but that wasn’t good enough for them
Got the sacred vessels....
While they were having a party there was handwriting on the wall.
Writing a different narrative!
Hab
Habakkuk 2:2 AV
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
John 8
John 8:4 AV
They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
While they were busy quoting scriptures, He stooped down and reminded them that God is still writing.
John 8:3–11 AV
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
What you adversaries write as your whole story.
God turns the page and keeps on writing.
Is there anybody here who.....
Jesus says, you can pivot and write a brand new story.
2 Corinthians 3:3 AV
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
2 Corinthians 3:2–3 AV
Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
2 Cor 3:2-
“and it came to pass”
Whatever you are going through.....
When you’ve learned the lessons you and God can write a brand new story.
write a brand new story
Don’t be overwhelmed by THIS
Don’t be troubled by this
Don’t go into despair because of this
There’s joy after this.....
love
grace
power
salvation
I’ll be stronger after this
I’ll be wiser after this
I’ll be better after this
There will be glory after this
This is my story, this is my song, praising my savior all the day long!
Will you partner with God...
So that you and God can write a new story.....
