And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us?

And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more

AND JOSEPH DREAMED;

Irrespective of his environment good or bad, Joseph spent his time dreaming.

Such dream are a result of mindset; what you think about, you dream about.

Joseph KNEW WHO HE WAS - the seed of Abraham - destined for Success.

HE WAS CONSCIOUS OF THIS ALL THE TIME

he didn’t have to live like his brothers or even think like them.

He also was not bothered by their thoughts about him.

He was neither carried away by the likeness of his dad because that was nothing compared to the presence of God in your life.

15 And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field:

He served with all his heart despite the hatred

and what happened to him was not to lead him into trouble but to bring him closer to his destiny.

ALL THINGS ARE ALWAYS WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THEM THAT LOVE THE LORD.. THAT ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.

And the LORD was with Joseph,

But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.

And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you

Joseph said “tell me” which means Joseph understood even his own dreams all along.

But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

DON’T LOOK UP TO MAN FOR HELP - DON’T TRY TO SEEK THE PITY OF MAN - FOCUS ON GOD’S FAVOUR - HIS PRESENCE IN YOUR LIFE

And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed:

When man had completely forgotten about Joseph, God had not; God was still with him - even when it didn’t look like it anymore.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they †brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh

IF IT WOULD TAKE TROUBLING THE KIND FOR GOD TO ACTUALIZE HIS FAVOUR IN YOUR LIFE, HE WILL DO IT

: For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

: For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

: For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

: Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

: I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

THERE ARE 3 MAIN FACTORS THAT ATTRACT GOD’S FAVOUR

Being conscious of the PRESENCE OF GOD in your life.

David was conscious of this when he faced Goliath of Gath by remembering that he was carrying the mark of the covenant that God cut with Abraham.

A mind that is full of love - Love covereth a multitude of sin and is not offended.
