When the Eyes are Opened!

Proverbs 29:18 ESV
18 Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.
In
He heals a leper
5-13- He heals the centurions servant with a word!
14-17 - He heals Peters mother in law, casts out many devils and heals many who were sick
23-27 - He performs a miracle and calms a storm at sea
28-34 - He casts out a legion of demons!
In
- He heals a paralyzed man
18-25 - He heals a woman with an issue of blood and then raises the dead
For the last chapter and half Jesus demonstrates his authority over ever sickness and even death, every devil and even legions of devils
We are kind of like these two chapters here in Matthew, we have seen a strong solid track record of what God can do but do we believe that he will do it for us?
We say we believe the word but do we really believe the word?
Matthew 9:27–31 ESV
27 And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about it.” 31 But they went away and spread his fame through all that district.
As Jesus passed on from there...
As he passed on from raised the dead it says two blind men followed him and crying aloud!
Crying aloud - krazo - to scream - to utter or declare in a very loud voice, often indicating a harsh sounding utterance!
I believe there is a pursuit that extends past our words, regardless of how dramatic or loud and convincing they may be!
We have the sound down but we need to work on the following part!
We know the words but we lack the pursuit!
I believe there are some people in this house who are ready to pursue Jesus until they hear from Him!
Matthew 9:27–28 ESV
27 And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.”

The Canaanite women had a daughter who was oppressed by demons.
Matthew 15:22–28 ESV
22 And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.” 23 But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away, for she is crying out after us.” 24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25 But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.” 26 And he answered, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” 27 She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.” 28 Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.
Matt 15.22-
She didn’t know the words, but she knew how to pursue to get her miracle!
Matthew 7:7–11 ESV
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Last week I talked about the blind church who has last its prophetic vision, this week I am talking about a people who are TIRED OF BEING BLIND!
Proverbs 29:18 ESV
18 Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.
Crying aloud - krazo - to scream - to utter or declare in a very loud voice, often indicating a harsh sounding utterance!
TIRED OF STUMBLING AROUND!
TIRED OF JUST MAKING NOISE!
I AM TALKING TO THOSE WHO ARE READY TO ENTER THE SAME HOUSE JESUS IS IN AND HAVE AN ENCOUNTER!
Matthew 9:28–31 ESV
28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about it.” 31 But they went away and spread his fame through all that district.
WHEN YOUR EYES ARE OPENED YOU CAN’T HELP BUT TELL SOMEBODY!
MATT 9.28

When the Tongue is Loosed!

Matthew 9:32–34 ESV
32 As they were going away, behold, a demon-oppressed man who was mute was brought to him. 33 And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, “Never was anything like this seen in Israel.” 34 But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the prince of demons.”
matt 9.32
When the spirit that has been trying to keep the church silent has been cast off......
There is a spirit of muteness that has tried to attach itself to the church!
It’s not red and it doesn't have a pitchfork and horns!
It’s not trying to shut the church up, it’s just trying to edit what it says!
It’s ok if the church has a voice as long as it’s not about the blood!
Not about healing!
Not about the Holy Spirit!
It’s ok of the church talks as long as it doesn’t talk in tongues!
Not about
When the tongue of the church is loosed two things will happen..
Some will marvel (We’ve never seen anything like this)
Some will get offended (He casts out demons by the prince of demons)
Religious devils are never satisfied!
