How To Deal With Difficult People
Luke 20:
Is your life different than the people you take counsel with?
That you take advice from?
John is talking to
If you don’t know who you are, you will always be miserable when they reject you.
You have to stop changing your behavior because of your environment and change your environment with your behavior.
I’m going to leave out of here the same person I walked in as.
When dealing with difficult people, you have to know your purpose.
Know your purpose but also know their purpose in your life.
To reject John is to reject Christ.
Anytime you reject the message, you reject the messenger.
To reject the preached word, you also reject the one who sent the preacher.
The gravest disease in the world is the rejection of truth.
A person that can not handle the truth is in bondage.
Difficult people keep being difficult to you because they don’t realize they are doing anything wrong.
Quit letting people put a guilt trip on you.
There is nothing in a person’s heart that won’t come out in their conduct.
There is nothing in a person’s heart that won’t come out in their conduct.
When put in the right situation, their true character will come out.
Difficult people are looking for people to confirm what they believe.
They only have people around them that agrees with them.
You don’t owe difficult people an explanation!
Stop explaining yourself!
The best answer to give to a difficult person is your silence.
You need to be as proficient of distributing your silence as your speech.
Don’t waste your time explaining yourself to someone who’s committed to misunderstanding you.
Know their intentions
What are they after?
What are they up to?
Are they fishing?
You have to discern their intentions.
Look them in the eye!
Don’t focus on difficult people who don’t want to become developing people.
They will take you away from your purpose.
Matthew 5:
Everybody won’t get along with you.
Don’t let that stop you!
Stay on the Wall!
Give them silence when they want an answer from you.
