The Thessalonians had faith, love, and hope because they had been chosen, changed, and transformed by God's gracious work *for* God's gracious work. If we are to work out our faith, labor in our love, and stand steadfast in our hope we must first be reminded of the transformational power of the gospel and the grace we have received.
