We Have been Crucified with Christ, Justified, and should be Satisfied being Sanctified Alive to God.

Paul has building a case that we are saved by Grace, through faith in Christ.

Paul says a simple act of faith identifies us with Christ; therefore, all the benefits that belong to Christ are ours to experience. We have nothing invested, but get to enjoy all the benefits of God’s grace.
God’s forgiveness of our sins demonstrates the greatest of His grace.
Going to the championship horse show with a profession, affords you all the benefits of his work for the last 12 months. Joe told me that last year, he and Lisa accompanied a friend to the AQHA championship. The result was that they won the Championship.
Joe is an excellent horseman and a professional, but, last year, Joe carried on his auto work and his ranch work at CoolWater. Joe’s buddy worked and prepared his horses and Joe help show them. When they won, they won together.
Joe’s skill, as a showman, would be in vain, if his buddy’s training program had not prepared the horses. Likewise, his buddy’s training program would have been benefited either of them, if Joe hadn’t done everything possible to show off what the horses had learned.
Salvation is like a training program. Jesus made all the preparations, so we can show off His grace toward us. Without Christ’s work on the cross, we would have nothing to show off. Likewise, if we do not live our new lives to God, we don’t enjoy the finished finished work of Christ.
Salvation is simple. We are sinners. We admit we sin, because we are sinners. We believe Jesus Died for I sins and ask him to forgive us. We confess that it is by God’s grace that we are forgiven and we are given new lives to live.
Paul’s knows what his readers are thinking. His readers are thinking the same thing some of you are thinking. If god’s grace is that great and salvation is that simple
I wish it would never happen that we, who have experienced God’s grace, would be satisfied living the sinful life we used to live.
May it never happen that we who
