THE COVENANTS OF ETERNAL VICTORY

There are two covenant God made with man that are of eternal value.

: After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

: And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

: And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

* ABRAM BEGAN TO COMPLAIN TO GOD… i HAVE COME OUT OF EVERY THING LIKE YOU SAID TO SERVE YOU, YET I HAVE NO CHILD

* BUT GOD’S PLAN FOR ABRAM WAS BEGAN THAN JUST A CHILD.. ABRAM WAS LOOK AT THE IMMEDIATE BUT GOD WAS LOOKING AT AN ETERNAL PLAN THAT WOULD.

: And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

: And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

: And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

: And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

ABRAM BELIEVED GOD AND GOD COUNTED IT FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS

: And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

ABRAM’S QUEST FOR WARRANTY PROMPTED GOD TO PUT FORTH THE FIRST COVENANT.

: And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

TAKE NOTE THAT THE ANIMALS ARE 3 YRS OLD (MINISTRY OF JESUS YEARS ON EARTH BEFORE THE SACRIFICE)

: And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

GOD BEGAN TO GIVE THE CONDITIONS BEFORE THE COVENANT IS CUT

ZECHARIAH BEGAN TO PROPHECY ABOUT THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH AND THE FULFILMENT OF THE OATH THAT WAS MADE TO ABRAHAM.

: And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

: To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

: The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

: But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

: But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

: For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second

: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

: Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
