What Now

Welcome

I love you

From the deepest part of my being I mean that.

Today is not an easy day for anyone.

This is not where we saw ourselves when we began this journey

We have used the word trust a lot around here

We have to trust that God is using this

All things work together...

We have a unique opportunity today to celebrate what God has done in our time together

Relationships have been formed and great memories have been made

From setting up every sunday to moving to the Lora Dr

From

From dressing like tigers to ugly sweaters

We have had a blast serving with you

As I was planning through this I couldn’t help but think about the similarities that we share with the disciples

They did not plan on sharing a short time with Jesus

We did not plan on being here for only a year and a half

They wanted to spend the rest of their lives changing their landscape

But yet there came a time when they had to say goodby

Matthew 28:16–20 ESV

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

WE USE THIS PASSAGE SO MUCH!

It’s true

But it is the mission to how we live our lives as Christians

But I want to look at it with the lenses that we are wearing

This what Jesus’ “Where do we go from here” to the disciples

I want this to be the same for us today.

Use What You Have Learned

Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you...

That word for commanded means can mean to charge

We have sen you out of here every week with a charge.

I hope you have learned and grown.

The Mission Is Still The Same

Lead people to Jesus

Grow in your relationship with God

Serve!

You Are Not Alone

Jesus promised to be with them

We are not leaving

I don’t know what God has planned, but I know that we are here in Bryant for the foreseeable future.

We are here for you!

Why is this important?

It is important to have closure

We love you all very much and we know that God is going to use all of us for his purpose if we will trust him with all of our being
