That’s Life

The life of a Kingdom Disciple is one of intentional living, a believer in Christ who takes part in the spiritual development process of progressively learning to live all of life in submission to Jesus Christ.
We’ve learned in order to be affective we must be depedent upon Him.

“Come to me...”

Matthew 11:28 ESV
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matt 11:
Let Jesus carry the heavy load of life and to learn all we can from Jesus.
Matthew 11:
Matthew 11:29 ESV
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
We also discovered that our families has a mission

Let Them Rule

Geneis
Genesis 1:26 ESV
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Before we can rule correctly, we must let Jesus rule our lives.

The Lord God introduces Himself relationally to man when he addresses Adam. “Lord God”
“…replicate
Satan sought to strip God of his relationship with man as absolute ruler and authority by ignoring His name that noted his relational position. The idea of religion without God is no threat to Satan
We discussed

Life in a Healthy Church

The church is to be a university of discipleship.
Acts 2:42 ESV
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
We accomplish this thru witness and testimony; study and growth in the Word of God; Fellowship and Honoring God thru Worship
Acts 2:46–47 ESV
46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
And finally we discussed how we are to engage our

Community

We are to have exercise Kingdom Influence
Matt
Matthew 5:13–14 ESV
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
We are to engage in Good works, divine authorized activity that benefit others, for which God gets the glory.
We are to impact culture.
Jeremiah
Jeremiah 29:7 ESV
7 But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.
The abscence of kingdom disciples in culture leads to social decay and disintergration.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has empowered the church to slow down the decay sin has caused in our world.
“If the visible, physical realm of social chaos and upheaval is to be corrected, the invisible, spiritual realm has to be addressed: God’s word must be proclaimed and applied.” Dr. Tony Evans
