Trust & Obey is still true

Luke 8:18 NASB95

“So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.”

If you listen to Jesus and do what he says he will validate what he has said to you and give you more truth, direction, and love to give away. If you listen to Jesus and don’t do what he says, what you heard will be taken from you. Then God will present you with a similar situation again, and if you have learned you will obey him, if you haven’t learned you will not obey him and eventually get the “test” again. You cannot disobey God and then ask him for the step after the one you disobeyed.
