Men We Need Adventure in Our Life
Men We Need Adventure in Our Life
Doesn’t this picture here look like a good idea?
Here is a little adventure for a group outing.
Or we could all take our dog for a walk.
Do you have adventure in Your life?
Do you have adventure in Your life?
Do you feel like this man who might be living, but is bored?
It really is time for us to see that we are meant to stretch ourselves. We are created to go out and be daring, experience new things.
Our boys need to see us not always in a stationary position, but going out an adventure ourselves.
We are the gladiators in the family.

As iron sharpens iron,
so a friend sharpens a friend.
“Women relate face to face sharing feelings; men relate shoulder to shoulder facing challenges.”
Apostle Peter Had an Adventurous Spirit
Apostle Peter Had an Adventurous Spirit
Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and cross to the other side of the lake, while he sent the people home. After sending them home, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Night fell while he was there alone.
Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!”
But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”
Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”
“Yes, come,” Jesus said.
So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.
Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”
When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped. Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed.
After they had crossed the lake, they landed at Gennesaret. When the people recognized Jesus, the news of his arrival spread quickly throughout the whole area, and soon people were bringing all their sick to be healed. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.
Matthew 14:22-
Peter went on an adventure that day.
How many of you have ever walked on Water?
Peter walked on water because he was willing to step out when Jesus called him.
Peter sank, but he was also the only one who would have the memory of ever stepping out of the boat.
Jesus Gave Peter Permission
Jesus Gave Peter Permission
Jesus gave Peter Permission to step out on the water.
Jesus is given us permission to have faith, step out of the boat, and walk on the water.
Step Out and follow your dreams, do something daring.
Walk on the Water by keeping your eyes on Jesus and not on the circumstances around you.
Are you ready to take and adventure?
Are you ready to take and adventure?
Go get some boldness and step out.
If you are thinking its time to wake up and go get some adventure, raise your hand, now look around.
Let’s go change the world around us, lets go be bold.
