What is Spiritually

The plunge and search for excitement, thrills, adventure, personal fulfillment and satisfaction.

The promise of sin is those things, we wouldn’t do it if it didn’t make promises.

That is the jump, and it does deliver on the promise, sort of.

But then what? Satisfaction, excitement, etc. eventually wears off. Now we are just hanging.

Left in a state of nowhere and now seeking and pondering what will or can I do to find the next source of excitement and satisfaction.

Talk about the cord, it’s the pull-back, it doesn’t let us continue on. In reality, the cord saves our life, it awakens us to a reality, worldly satisfaction never lasts, it will leave us hanging in limbo, and ultimately it has saved our life, for the moment.

The Christian Life Should Not Be Boring

The Christian life is meant to be an adventure, exciting, risky, but American Christianity has had it’s balls cut off.

We are too comfortable, too lazy, too afraid to offend, confront, make a movement.

The Christian life is a war against the forces of evil, we are to be pushing into enemy territory and claiming captives.
