I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

Our imagination is a gateway that unlocks the spiritual realm
Behold

rev 1:

The word epóptēs denotes one who had been initiated into the innermost secrets of his faith and who enjoyed the highest religious privileges; but now in contradiction to the secrecy of all pagan “mysteries” (Eleusinian, etc) the apostles would share with all the faithful every spiritual vision which they enjoyed (“we made known unto you”).

2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Creative
Our creative nature and imagination sets us apart from the rest of creation. This is where true worship comes from--the creative imagination, engaging body soul and spirit. When our imagination is sanctified and holy, we can choose to set our thoughts on God and use the creative process of our thoughts in worship. Our creative nature, when used with our imagination, actually has the power to transform our lives and bring the reality of God’s will into our present circumstances.
2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
