In , we read of God's displeasure with the world and its wickedness.
The beauty of the daughters of the world, attracted the men of God, so they wanted them.
This led to the destruction of the perfect home environment.
This combination of good and evil, produced mighty men, people morally clean, but not spiritually committed.
They were religious, with just enough religion, to fool those around them.
They worshiped idols, but claimed they know the idols were not God, but just represented God.
They gave the idols the characteristics and habits of men, so God became like them, rather than man becoming more like God.
Many became renown.
They were the conscience of the world.
They had a knowledge of God, but used it for convenience, but this opened door for them, and it made them famous.
But as God pronounces judgment upon the world, and prepares to destroy it with a flood, we find encouraging words concerning one man:

“Oh to believe in a child.
To work from the premise that this child will be something, do something, achieve something.
To pour everything you have into that child.

Lamec believed in Noah, God believed in Noah.
What a wonderful thing to believe in somebody.

Evil was so rampant that it stood ready to overrun good.
Years of practicing evil, using the giftedness of man, reknowned men, was too much for those who desired to do good.
