SERVE GOD WILLINGLY...
Read 1 Peter 5...
Verses 1-4…Peter says fellow elders…quite a group to be a part of. Exhort means strongly encourage or urge (someone) to do something. The Elders, or leaders of the church, must show everyone, the proper example of someone walking in Faith…loving as JESUS does. 1 Timothy 6:1-2All who are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so that the name of God and our doctrine will not be spoken against. Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brethren, but must serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved. Teach and preach these principles.
In other words, respect, love and admonish if they are off base...grace. With love, there is hope, peace and sometimes correction.
Nothing is for personal gain, but for the Kingdom.
Doing this, you will receive a crown from the the Chief Shepherd.

Verses 5-7…Young men are those with less maturity, those who will learn from the leaders. Understand, young is young in spiritual maturity, not age. Timothy was young. And always be humble, never anxious, as JESUS takes your anxiety away. TRUST IN JESUS.
It’e been said before. Do we trust all things to HIM? The most freeing moment is when you completely surrender. HARD??? ABSOLUTELY…but we will walk in victory without thinking we are victorious. It becomes second nature.
Verses 8-11…you head must stay clear at all times. satan does not rest. Resist him in your spirit and your flesh will be safe. After a while of trials, you will be perfected, confirmed, strengthened, and established. AMEN!!!

Verses 12-13…Silvanus is a companion and is also a messenger and a scribe.
She is Peters wife, along with Mark, who writes another book in the Gospel. Babylon could be referring to Rome.
Verse 14…Greet each ch other with a kiss of love…a holy kiss, sincerely, not out of the side of your mouth. We are JESUS to each other also. Peace be with you. SHALOM!!!
Let’s pray...
