The title i was given is: Why It is Important To Reach Your School With the Gospel.

I have three Biblical Reasons

REASON 1: Because God said so.

Matthew 28:19–20 NKJV

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Mark 16:15 NKJV

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Romans 10:10–17 NKJV

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

REASON 2: Because People Need Jesus

As Ravi Zaccharias says ““Sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay”.

Sin is so destructive. While the fruit of spirt is

Galatians 5:22 NKJV

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

The fruit or result of sin is: selfishness, depression/sadness, confusion/distress/ agitation, hate/animosity, cruelty/corruption, disloyalty, and on top of that guilt and remorse.

and on top of that guilt and remorse

says the world will get worse and worse with sin, so we can expect that their will be more and more suffering from the fruits of sin.

but So many and too many Christians are fooled by people pretending their okay… but are not... they need a Savior!

They need to hear about Jesus who came to take away their sin

Jesus came to remove sin, and when sin is gone all the terrible results of sin will be removed!

as a result more and more are facing the fruits of sin

So its time to be bold and give them Jesus!

People are so addicted to their phones now studies are now showing that more time on your phone links to depression.

because of how sexual Americas has become people are confused at who they are sexually and who they are attracted too.. Sin is bringing so many confusion

That is just sexual sin… there are so many sins!

America is more depressed then the Great Depression

but unlike the Great depression people act like they are okay - which is a lie.

all these inside emotions

So there are so many liars out there and that doesnt help!

I can go on and on about the sin in this world you see it!

So many of us are fooled by people pretending their okay… its time to be bold and give them Jesus!

Jesus came to remove sin, and when sin is gone all the terrible results of sin will be removed!

and on top of all this...... sin will take anyone the furthest place from God… Hell

Before I was a Christian I was borderline atheist/agnostic.... and I often would think that if God is really real, and the Bible is really real, and if Hell is really real… then there should be some big changes in my life.

If there is a real hell… we should be broken for our friends and family, and neighbors that don’t know Jesus… we should be broken for the people around us.

So why is it important to reach your schools?

They need Jesus. Don’t be fooled by people pretending their okay! They need Jesus to heal them and to save them!

REASON 3: Because God Equips the Willing!

Guys what we see today is HUGE! And you dont even know it yet!

According to Barna Research (which started in 1984, Barna is widely considered to be a leading research organization focused on the intersection of faith and culture.):

“Gen Z—the generation following the millennials—is the least Christian generation to date, according to a new Barna study – “34 percent of Gen Z’s religious affiliation is either atheist, agnostic or none. In fact, teens 13-18 years old are twice as likely as adults to say they are atheist. And just three in five 13- to 18-year-olds say they are some kind of Christian (59 percent).”

Fox News - “Many Christian teens are simply unprepared for the world that is waiting for them. With the best of intentions, we bubble wrap our kids and create Disney World–like environments for them in our churches, and then wonder why they have no resilience in faith or life. Students are entertained but not prepared. They’ve had a lot of fun but are not ready to lead. When the pressure to conform is turned up, Christian teenagers tend to wilt if they do not have the confidence that only comes from knowing why they believe what they believe. As one teenager told me, “following Jesus today is hard because sometimes you feel like the only one.”

So true followers of Jesus are getting more and more rare in schools.

Today I see many Followers of Jesus from many different High Schools, I see a church that wants to invest into you, and National School workers excited to disciple you!

Together and unified what a power force we can be!

If we leave this conference not unified we will be alone! My hope is that we all unify under God’s will!

There is so much power in unity!

The church by itself cant reach your school, but has huge resources to invest and support into Christian Clubs

National School Project cant reach your school with out you but has the tools to reach whole campuses

You by yourself can reach your school but if you combine all three you will have the tools, and support to easily spread the gospel to your whole school, and maybe the whole city!

In almost every revival there is young people,

I am excited to see National School Project helping you reach your campus and to see the church investing whatever you need!

So to me when I look around today I see power! I see potential to see the gospel spread so large that we can easily have a revival here!

Warren Wiersbe says “Ministry takes place when divine resources meets human needs through loving channels for the glory of God”.

Not because we are great individually but because we are all unified under a great God!

The divin

Jesus changed the world with 12 followers of Jesus! There is more than 12 of us here! If we unify, and pray we can easily change our schools, and our city, and from our city, change maybe even our state.

You may think Nate your crazy, and theres no way this can happen because I am just a High Schooler, and I am a sinner.

I just want to say that you are right! but that doesn't mean great things cant happen!

Remember the types of people Jesus used to change the world? regular fisher men, a tax collector, and a bunch of regular people.

And in the OT God used a donkey (Num 22)

Great things don’t happen in God’s kingdom because you are great but because God is great! God just looks for the willing!

The question is not on your ability, but if you are willing.

Are you willing?

God doesnt use the great but He uses the willing!

I dont know about you but I am willing to band together for great outreaches! Maybe own the park for a weekend with games, concerts, farmers market and

Guys together we can not only take the gospel to our High Schools but to the city!

Conclusion

Why Is it Important to reach your school and your community??

because you can!

All of us here today is rare!

Together we are a church, High school believers unified! Together we can see Corona not be a statistic but saved!

God doesnt use the great but He uses the willing!

I dont know about you but I am willing to band together for great outreaches!

Maybe we can own the park for a weekend and provide games, concerts, a farmers market, to bring in the city and then share the gospel!

Guys together we can not only take the gospel to our High Schools but to the world!

So back to the title of the Message “why is it important to your schools”.

Because you are willing

Because people to need to be saved

Because God said so.
