Pathetic Prophets

When is Jesus coming for His church?  I don’t know.  You don’t know.  Nobody knows, though we have a lot of soothsayers, prognosticators, astrologers, and so-called prophets trying to predict when this will happen.  But they’re not prophetic; they’re pathetic!

No one has a shred of an iota of a scintilla of information about when this will happen.  No one sitting in the Pentagon, on Capital Hill, or in executive offices and financial institutions has a clue.  If some high muckety-muck comes along and tells you, “I’ve set a date for the coming of Jesus,” you need to ask him, “Will you give me the deed to your house effective the day after your set date and do it now?”
