When Jesus heard about the tragic death of John the Baptist he immediately went to a deserted place with his disciples and began to talk to the about the events that took place.

Is it because oh what we think Jesus could do for us that we call him Lord or because of who he is?
A lot of times the role moguls for following Christ often flows from faulty expectations about Christ.

“Was this all his work at come to? Was this the conception they had of him? Are they trying to determine the course of his future actions instead humbly asking what would he have them to do?
They were looking for King to fulfill their physical and worldly need, they were looking for King that would provide all their conference without labor. But what they didn't realize is that the bread that he was given was the word to eternal life.
