Faithful Father

Psalm 23 NLT

A psalm of David. 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. 3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. 5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

1. Our Heavenly Father is Faithful

If you did not have a dad, our heavenly Father has never left you

If your dad was absent, our heavenly Father never leaves you

Our heavenly Father should be our example for fahterhood

2. Faithful Abba is better than a superhero

Better than Spider Man, Abba holds all things together

Better than Robin, Abba is always there

Better than Batman, Abba does not slumber nor sleep

Better than the Hulk, Abba is omnipotent

Better than Superman, Abba can do it all

Better than every universe, Abba never loses

3. The Lord is Abba

Anyone male after puberty can father a child but a dad sticks around

Dads will always support their children

Dads will always be there

4. Who is Abba to you?

He is our shepherd

He is our protector

He is our strength

He is our provider

He is our healer

He is ABBA
