Those that have been saved should fight for the truth of the gospel, those that are not saved should repent and learn from those already saved, and those that have been tempted by the ways of this world should persevere in the truth of the gospel.

We have been warned

Through countless accounts, innumerable literature, and many testimonies; we have heard the gospel. We have seen it in our neighbors, we have seen it on social media, and we have read it in the word of God.
In the situation that you are here today and have not heard the gospel, I urge you to turn to Jesus and give your life to Him so that you may be saved.
Even as a devout Christian man I have this continual desire to repent every day; so that I may one day get to be in the presence of the one who gave His only Son to die for me on the cross and to worship Him for the great Father He is.
The book of Jude has three main recipients that is trying to be reasoned with:
Those that have been saved
Those that He is calling to be saved
Those that are among the wolves in the body of Christ

I had another thought

We need to talk

I want to start off with a question, have you ever had a meeting that you thought would go well, but took a terrible turn resulting in disaster and heartbreak?
If you haven’t experienced this let me give you a typical message that initiates this interaction. It comprises of four words, we, need, to, talk. As one of many young adults my age, I sympathize with their anxiety because the moment I receive a text like that I become super nervous about what is going to be said next. It’s a precursor for disaster and something awful.
Going into a meeting that was ordained by the statement “we need to talk” for some reason we go in thinking that the worst is going to come of it. We formulate some strange scenario ending in ruin and our heart being broken.
However, there is nothing better than arriving and finding out that the occasion was of good nature and nothing to have previously worried about.
Jude originally was going to write about the good news of their saved salvation () but decided to switch to a letter revolving around salvation, but not with a light heart.
