Since it’s fathers day and all

Philippians 4:6–13 CEB
Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus. From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is excellent and if anything is admirable, focus your thoughts on these things: all that is true, all that is holy, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is lovely, and all that is worthy of praise. Practice these things: whatever you learned, received, heard, or saw in us. The God of peace will be with you. I was very glad in the Lord because now at last you have shown concern for me again. (Of course you were always concerned but had no way to show it.) I’m not saying this because I need anything, for I have learned how to be content in any circumstance. I know the experience of being in need and of having more than enough; I have learned the secret to being content in any and every circumstance, whether full or hungry or whether having plenty or being poor. I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength.

Finding your Happiness is hard work but keeping it!

Our anxiety can be like a thief in the night
I’ve lived this, this week in my personal life… Sometimes scriptures and sermons happen for me more than you so maybe I should just say sorry for this week now...
Each of us deal with those pressures in different ways
Some are like ducks
Some are like nail biters
Some burry their heads in the sand
None but God can change the course of the sun
Many of us wish to change a day and make miracles happen. The problem is that in the Bible, one man did ask for the sun to stand still and God made it happen. God can make the huge changes we are looking for so that we might have our victory but God has to do it and most of us try to do it ourselves.

Practice, Practice, Play!

The work becomes a part of who you are
The words you choose… I do x… to I used to do x but now I...
The first time you try to not be anxious or not worry or whatever change you want.. it won’t be great but you will learn from it and keep getting better.
When you are working out of your sweet spot then things get fun fast
Yep, I’ll bring up running… I’ve had breakthrough moments where I’ve run a full minute per mile faster. your work will be the same.

Whether full or hungry
