In an ever materialistic world, one's inheritance can often times be imagined as a tangible and physical sum of money or other material good that might be passed on from generation to generation. Instead, as a believer in Christ, Peter tells us of a "living hope" we have access to- an imperishable inheritance. Through Jesus Christ we have access to an inheritance in the Kingdom to come.
