Romans 3:27–28 NASB95
Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
Define Law:
Apply to Faith.

The Law of Faith

What is a Law? Law of Gravity. Law of Relativity, Laws of Physics, (Shamu Splash Zone) When 5384 lbs of whale jumps up in the air and slams back into a full tank of water, what happens to everyone sitting in the splash zone? Should anyone be surprised? You don’t have to believe in the low of gravity for it to work. You don’t vote on it. A higher kingdom has established it as so. Yet,
The story of Jesus and Peter walking on the Water. (Background)
Matthew 14:28–30 NASB95
Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Vs. 28 Peter calls out for the Anointed, Made alive Word, to speak to him.
Vs 29. The Word Speaks. (Grace is Released) (Explain) PETER WALKS ON THE WATER. NO ONE ELSE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD, EXCEPT JESUS HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE. For as long as vs 29 lasts. It is an amazing day. Has the law of Gravity been suspended? Has the law of physics where Greater Mass dispels lessor mass been suspended? Vs 30 gives us the anwser.
Vs 30 Read, So...
If you are going to walk on the water,
Click Do it on a calm day.
No. What was happening in verse 29
Matthew 14:28 NASB95
Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
Grace was released from the living Word of God. Peter believed, and acted on that word, and the law of Faith made the journey possible. But then,
Read Vs 30 again.
Matthew 14:30 NASB95
But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Matthew 14:31 NASB95
Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Little Faith? Why Did I Doubt?
Well Jesus, Let me tell you what happened. That lousy group of me you put me with, Not one of the offered to help. Not one of them offered to walk with me.
Little Faith? Why Did I Doubt?
Okay Jesus, Here’s what happened.
YOU JESUS!. You had unreasonable expectations of me. The water was rough. The night was dark. And that wind. Have you ever seen wind like that before?
I have located the problem, and Jesus, it’s you.
Just once, could I get a little encouragement and an Atta boy”.
No.
Vs. 30 again.
Matthew 14:30 NASB95
But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
HE BECAME FRIGHTENED. Because of circumstances. The law of faith, perverted, became the law of fear and death. And down he went.
In Oct, we are getting into a 1,234,600 lb airplane and flying to Texas. No fear of gravity related death. Why? The law of thrust, combined with the law of lift, overcomes the law of gravity. They are laws. So is faith. The law of faith will work every time.
That was Peter. How about the one recognized as the FATHER OF FAITH.

Romans 4:1 AMP
[BUT] IF so, what shall we say about Abraham, our forefather humanly speaking—[what did he] find out? [How does this affect his position, and what was gained by him?]
3 Questions Read.
What Are The Principles of Faith
Click: We must believe God. No matter what he says, or does. No matter how long it takes.
Next:
Romans 4:3 NASB95
For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
It does not say, Abraham believed in God. Even devils believe in God. He BELIEVED HIM.
Believe;
What Are The Principles of Faith
Romans 4:16 NASB95
For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Review:
Matthew 14:29 NASB95
And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
COME! (Explain)

WHAT MAKES A WORD A GRACE?

Anything that comes out of the mouth of the LIVING WORD, is a GRACE!
Back to Abraham
Romans 4:16 NASB95
For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Romans 4:17 NASB95
(as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.
There is the Grace: A Father of many nations have i made you. (Past tense, 25 years before Issac was born.)
What Are The Principles of Faith
Romans 4:18 NASB95
In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”
Hope: Look at the scripture again:
Romans 4:18 NASB95
In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”
With Joyful anticipation, Abraham rejected normal, and took the grace.

Romans 4:19–21 NASB95
Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
Emphasize : Without becoming weak in faith.
Emphasize: he did not waver.
Emphasize: being fully assured.
Then,
Romans 4:22 NASB95
Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness.
Everything we just read is true. Every word, But sometimes our assumptions are not. (Repeat)
Abraham:
Did not become weak in faith.
Did not waver.
Was fully assured what God had promised, He was able to perform.
Allen
At times has been weak in faith.
At times has wavered.
At times doesn’t even know if he got the promise right.
What chance do I have?
Genesis 12:1–3 NASB95
Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you; And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Wow, Ready!
Genesis 12:4 NASB95
So Abram went forth as the Lord had spoken to him; and Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

There were 24 years of messing up. Doubting, wondering in and out of the plan God had for Abram.

Romans 4:1 AMP
[BUT] IF so, what shall we say about Abraham, our forefather humanly speaking—[what did he] find out? [How does this affect his position, and what was gained by him?]
Abraham had so things to learn. 24 years of life lessons before passing his faith along to us.
Being in Right Standing With God (Righteousness) Should Affect How I Talk and How I Act and Even My Countenance.
How I Talk
Proverbs 18:20 NASB95
With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips.
Satisfied: Filled up. In the negative: To weary.
Proverbs 18:21 NASB95
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
How would it affect us, if we believed just those two verses?
Paul:
Romans 10:6–11 NASB95
But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”
Jesus:
Luke 6:45 NASB95
“The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
So I just guard my mouth and everything will be okay.
