In Africa, when they have a specially heavy burden to carry, they tie it to one end of a stick, then they tie a stone of equal weight to the other end of the stick, and then they carry the stick and the two burdens across their shoulders, The one balances the other, and two burdens are easier than one. Start carrying someone else’s load, and you can forget your own.
