Step 1: Determine to become more disciplined

1 Corinthians 9:27 KJV 1900
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Discipline, whether in the spiritual or the physical realm, requires effort. But the effort is well worth it.

What you are tomorrow, you are becoming today.

Step 2: Develop spiritual sensitivity

Philippians 2:5 KJV 1900
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Step 3: Improve your prayer life

Luke 11:1 KJV 1900
And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

Step 4: Deal with your sin

1 John 1:9 KJV 1900
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Step 5: Worship with God’s people

1 Corinthians 12:7 KJV 1900
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

You and I are also called to go to church to serve God’s people. This service comes as we use our spiritual gifts.

God created us to worship Him.
