Now there was no blacksmith to be found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make themselves swords or spears.”

So last week we saw the beginnings of this war between the nation of Israel and the Philistines…Sal put his army together and put his son Johnathan as his right hand man, but all you need to know about the is found in the amount of solders left in Saul’s standing army…600…If you remember, they began at 3000…but now their down tp 600…thats bad news
