Why should the sons and daughters of God be reluctant to pray, when prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven's storehouse, where are treasured the boundless resources of Omnipotence?

Consecrate yourself to God in the morning; make this your very first work.

Let your prayer be, "Take me, O Lord, as wholly Thine.

I lay all my plans at Thy feet.

Use me today in Thy service.

Abide with me, and let all my work be wrought in Thee."

This is a daily matter.

Each morning consecrate yourself to God for that day.

Surrender all your plans to Him, to be carried out or given up as His providence shall indicate.

Thus day by day you may be giving your life into the hands of God, and thus your life will be molded more and more after the life of Christ.

What are you presently giving God permission to do in your life and in the lives of others through your prayers?

What specific permission should you give God in your prayers that you are currently not giving due to praying generically?

How often do you believe that the power of prayer is based more upon your performance (how well you articulate your thoughts / how good your behavior is) than the power of Christ’s victorious blood and High Priestly ministry?

How well do you follow the book of Hebrew’s admonition to come into God’s presence boldly in prayer?
