Introduction
Introduction
What does it mean to be a woman? What is biblical femininity? These are important questions that we should be asking and seeking to answer for ourselves, our children, and the culture around us. Some of you ladies might be asking another question: Jimmy, you barely have the right to talk about manhood and masculinity, what gives you the right to tell us what it means to be women? Such a question is similar to the pro-baby killers saying that no one has a right to tell them what to do with their body. Its true I have no authority in and of my self to speak to these issues. However, God does and He is not silent on these issues. Therefore, if you disagree or live contrary to what He says the only proper response is to bow to Him and repent of your sin. God has spoken in the Scriptures and it is the Scriptures see God’s design and desire for biblical womanhood. During this sermon, I am to survey certain subjects and relationships that pertain to women and how they are to live in light of Scripture.

I. The Creation, Fall, and Redemption of Women
Women have inherent dignity and worth as bearers of God’s image
Women, as a result of the fall, are imperfect
Women, who have been redeemed, are able to begin living in the roles and responsibilities God has endowed them in the ways He created them too
II. The Christian Woman Has a Variety of Roles and Responsibilites
I’m a complementation and that means
I believe...
Men and women are created with equal dignity and worth
Men and women are assigned distinct roles and responsibilities
These roles and responsibilities are most pronounced in the home and the church
I don’t believe...
Men are better than women
Women aren’t able to fulfill the roles assigned to men

III. Application
Men, take your responsibility to lead, provide, and protect the women in your life. Kill any wayward desire or impulse to objectify, belittle, or harm them.
Women, prayerfully and faithfully live out your Christianity as a woman.
Parents: Raise your sons to respect women and to only pursue godly women for marriage. Raise your daughters to be godly women and only allow the pursuit of Godly men for marriage
Children: children obey and honor your parents in your youth. Honor them in your adulthood and care for them if they fail in health.
Conclusion
Conclusion
God has the final say on what it means to be female. Biblical womanhood is the truest expression of womanhood. If you are a woman, you should seek to live under the authority of God’s word and fulfill the responsibilities God has given you. If you are a man, you should sacrificially lead, love, protect and support the women in your life. And both women and men should realize that Jesus is Lord and His word is our final authority in matters of faith and doctrine. Therefore, if society, culture, psychologist, or sociologist tell us something contrary to Scripture as it pertains to genders and gender roles, then we submit to God’s Word and reject man-centered assertions. To be a true woman begins with being redeemed by Christ and that redemption seeps into every aspect of life. Let us be a church, individuals, and families that foster a biblical worldview and its bearings on the genders. Let us hold fast to Christ, believe and obey His Word, and proclaim the truth no matter the consequence.
