EPIC Summer (Creation)
CIT: For Generations people have seen the rainbow in the sky.
CIS: God is true to his promise and it is for his people.
SO: Kids will understand God doesn’t break his promise.
SM -
1) Who likes to swim?
2) How long can you hold your breath underwater?
3) Has God ever broken his promise to you?
We – have all told someone that we would do something and then forgot or deiced we didn’t want to do it right!?!
I have...
T.S. - Does God break his promises to us…No but how can we say that with confidence?
Bible -
NLTIn the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
You – know that God is true to his word in the most EPIC of moments when you see a rainbow remember the covenant promise God makes to all the world.
ILL -
We – will have people say why do you believe in God because he is a good God.
Look at the world around us and you can see the wonders of God.
PRAY - God forgive me in the times that I haven’t keep my promise and thank you that you have always keep your promise to me.
