GOING “ALL IN” IS ALL OUT WAR 1. Read Luke 9:1-10:20. What phrase is repeated? 2. Describe in your own words what that phrase means. 3. How does it apply to you personally? 4. Read Luke 10:17. What were the disciples excited about? 5. Read Luke 10:20. What did Jesus say their joy be based on? 6. What causes you to lose that joy? 7. Read Galatians 5:17. Is there a war raging inside of you? Why? 8. Which nature will die? Why? 9. Which nature will live? Why? 10. Does this mean we should allow the old sin nature to have its way since it cannot go to heaven anyway? 11. Read Romans 7:14-25. Have you experienced what Paul explains as a struggle in his own life? 12. Look at verse 24 again. Does it excite you that one day you will be free of this body of death? 13. According to Ephesians 6:12 what is our struggle against? 14. How do you respond to that verse? 15. How do you respond to irritations? a. Have you considered that possibly you have an attitude that says you deserve better than what you are currently receiving: i. From your job ii. From you friends iii. From your family iv. From your circumstances 16. Do you deserve better than what God is bringing you? Why do you believe that? 17. What is the absolute worst you could have happen to you? 18. Could pride be the root cause of your frustrations and anger? 19. Could God be using your circumstance(s) to build your trust in Him? And bring humility?
