Concluding Mark 15, we see Christ laid to rest by Joseph of Arimathea and given a temporary wrapping due to the approach of the Sabbath. In Mark 16, we see Christ resurrected and appearing to the eleven and others in the apostolic community. Through His resurrection, the disciples were empowered and brought forth the great Gospel of the Lord.
