A. ความเคร่งครัดในความเชื่อส่วนตัวเริ่มขึ้นในขณะนี้ Personal Piety begins Now

The Engaged ladies

The unengaged people - you cannot seek to attract a boyfriend/girlfriend by the flesh/body and then expect to have a spiritually vibrant relationship/home in the future.

By God’s grace you can overcome a bad beginning and have a relationship that is honouring to God, but to begin in the flesh and then ask God to make it spiritual is presumptuous (proud)!

To The married - Walk with God now! Lead your family to walk with God by both demanding it and living it in front of them!

1 เธสะโลนิกา 2:9-12

9  For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.

10  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

11  As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,

12  That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

9 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ท่านคงจำได้ถึงการทำงานอันเหน็ดเหนื่อย และความยากลำบากของเราเมื่อเราประกาศข่าวประเสริฐของพระเจ้าให้แก่ท่าน เราทำงานทั้งกลางคืนและกลางวัน เพื่อเราจะไม่เป็นภาระแก่ผู้ใดในพวกท่าน

10 ท่านทั้งหลายเป็นพยานฝ่ายเรา และพระเจ้าก็ทรงเป็นพยานด้วยว่าเราได้ประพฤติตัวบริสุทธิ์ เที่ยงธรรม และปราศจากข้อตำหนิในหมู่พวกท่านที่เชื่อ

11 ดังที่ท่านรู้แล้วว่า เราได้เตือนสติ หนุนใจและกำชับท่านทุกคน ดังบิดากระทำต่อบุตร

12 เพื่อให้ท่านดำเนินชีวิตอย่างสมควรต่อพระเจ้า ผู้ทรงเรียกท่านให้เข้ามาในอาณาจักรและสง่าราศีของพระองค์

*If your children are at home, demand obedience to the Bible, but seek to reach their heart.

*If your children are grown and gone, you can’t demand it of them, but you can encourage them to walk with God and to obey His Word!

B. สถานะไม่เกี่ยวข้อง Status is Irrelevant

IF you read the Law of Moses in , you will see that they were supposed to offer a lamb to redeem their son, but they couldn’t do so because they were poor! They didn’t have the money for a lamb to offer for Baby Jesus, they had to offer the offering of the poor, yet He was the Saviour of the World!

I don’t care what your financial status is, the most important thing is if you are obedient to God and His Word! This begins in the heart and moves into our living!

We are not to treat some people differently than others out of preference or position

We have 2 passages to look at regarding this.

1 ทิโมธี 5:21 ข้าพเจ้ากำชับท่านต่อพระพักตร์พระเจ้าและต่อพระเยซูคริสต์เจ้า และต่อเหล่าทูตสวรรค์ที่ทรงเลือกสรรไว้แล้วนั้น ให้ท่านรักษาข้อความเหล่านี้ไว้โดยไม่เห็นแก่หน้าผู้ใด และไม่กระทำการใดๆด้วยใจลำเอียง

  I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

This passage is talking about preachers/pastors who sin.

If a pastor sins, especially against the qualifications of a pastor from , He should be removed from office and it needs to be made known to the church why, and what the steps are for restoration (to the extent possible)

James

1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

3 และท่านสนใจคนที่สวมใส่เครื่องแต่งกายอย่างดี และกล่าวแก่เขาว่า "เชิญท่านนั่งที่นี่ในที่อันดีเถิด" และท่านก็พูดกับคนจนนั้นว่า "แกจงยืนอยู่ที่นั่น" หรือ "จงนั่งแทบที่รองเท้าของเราเถิด"

4 พวกท่านเองมิได้ลำเอียง และกลายเป็นผู้วินิจฉัยด้วยใจชั่วหรือ

Remember, a person’s possessions do not help them to be spiritual

A person’s lack of possessions does not prevent them from being spiritual.

C. อายุไม่เกี่ยวข้อง Age Is Irrelevant

You have this young couple, Joseph and Mary; and you have these 2 old people who were still faithfully serving God HOWEVER they could!

If you won’t serve God now, then when? 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80+

Certain Abilities may change, but our commitment and desire should not.

Single - vs - Married - vs - Young children - vs - older children - vs - empty nest - vs - retired...
